 SJA PROJECT POLICY

Smith, Johnson & Associates
Worldwide Consultants to the Nonwovens and Related Products Industries

Projects are pursued on a custom basis to fit the specific client and project.  Many projects are of a strategic nature with insights synthesized from public information, personal knowledge, personal files and selected contacts and interviews with industry personnel. If desired and in so far as possible, SJA work will be done without initiating further industry interest in the area of investigation. SJA respects the confidential nature of all clients past, present and future. Further, the identity of the client and the relationship with the client will not be disclosed unless agreed by the client.

Our reputation in the industry and base of over 300 clients speaks to our practice of the highest ethical standards.

PROJECT METHODOLOGY

Generally a project begins with an interview to determine a proper fit between the client and SJA expertise. If a good fit is determined, SJA will provide a detailed proposal, which includes pricing estimates and project milestones, a project outline is commonly provided at the beginning of the project. Typical projects are handled and charged per day of work and involve regular follow up to insure project goals and objectives are met. Projects can be as small as 3 to 4 days or can take months to complete. Also, there are some cases where the SJA and client interface through an open retainer for certain contracted periods of time.
